This journal’s cover comes from the Home University Library of Modern Knowledge series. It was a reference book containing ‘A preliminary study of the Life and Times of peoples living in a dim and remote past.’ Circa 1923.
Now transformed into a beautiful mixed media of ‘junk’ journal, with grey velvet ribbon tie and cream stitched binding. Inside cover has original ‘Angus & Robertson’ bookstore sticker with Sydney address. Back cover has annotations in lovely handwriting.
Page inside include illustrations of ancient cave paintings from the original text, poetry, blank pages in neutral colours, grid pages, and Cyrillic and script pages.
